Find out if you qualify for free tax prep

Please answer the following questions to determine whether you are eligible for VITA Lancaster’s free tax preparation services.

Was your household income in 2025 $70,000 or under? If you answered no, you are ineligible.
Do you have social security cards for everyone on your tax return? All taxpayers will need to bring a Social Security card and/or ITIN number for everyone on the return, even if you were at the same site last year. If you answered no, you are ineligible.
Do you have income from a rental property, loss from a business or from owning a farm? If you answered yes, you are ineligible.
Do you have income from Puerto Rico? If you answered yes, you are ineligible.
Do you have clergy pay? If you answered yes, you are ineligible.
