United Way of Lancaster County

We fight for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community.

We work to fight the chronic problems plaguing our County and work to make the systemic change necessary to address the underlying causes of our County's most serious problems. United in focus, we are working to achieve these Four Bold Goals:

Each day thousands of people like you make their caring count by helping health and human service agencies with a wide range of tasks. You could serve your community as a counselor, tutor, companion to the elderly, board or committee member, and in other ways beneficial to the community.

For many in our community, taxes can feel like a burden. VITA volunteers work to help lift that burden by offering low-income families free tax preparation.

United Way 2-1-1 answers the call - 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. It is an easy to remember phone number that quickly connects people with resources in their community.
