Volunteer
Volunteering is one of the most powerful ways to strengthen our community. By giving your time and talents, you can support local nonprofits in meaningful and impactful ways.
Whether you serve as a counselor, tutor, companion to an older adult, board member, or committee volunteer—or prefer hands-on activities like clean-ups, gardening, or helping to feed those in need—there’s a meaningful way for everyone to get involved.
United Way of Lancaster County’s Volunteer Center connects you with meaningful opportunities to give back across the county. The Get Connected volunteer portal makes it simple—linking individuals and groups of all kinds, from families and students to businesses and retirees, with local nonprofits and education providers.
By volunteering, you help these organizations achieve their missions, improve lives, and make Lancaster County a stronger, more connected community for everyone.
Special thanks to our Volunteer Center sponsor, PNC Bank, for helping make this possible!
