Come celebrate Week of Caring 2025!

This year, our Week of Caring will kick off with the One World Festival celebrating a rich tapestry of cultures and backgrounds. Week of Caring 2025 will run from September 8 to September 13, aligning with United Way’s core mission of mobilization.

If you’d like to make a meaningful impact in our community through various volunteering and campaigning opportunities, please visit our Volunteer Page.

History of Week of Caring

For over 30 years, United Way of Lancaster County has united hundreds of volunteers for impactful service projects during our Day of Caring. After the pandemic, we observed a significant rise in the need for service and recognized that a full Week of Caring would provide greater support to our community. We’re excited to expand our opportunities, inviting individuals, families, and teams from local businesses and organizations to join us in making a meaningful difference.

Mark your calendars for the return of this transformative week: September 8-13, 2025!

By volunteering with United Way of Lancaster County, you have the unique opportunity to connect with the incredible individuals who help our community thrive. Come experience the power of collective action and be part of something truly special!

We invite you to visit our Get Connected volunteer site to share your volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
