Holiday Food Box Giveaway
On December 21, 2024, Lancaster County Project for the Needy (LCPN) will provide food boxes filled with essential staples for holiday meals.
History
For over 30 years, the Lancaster County Project for the Needy has provided FREE holiday food boxes to residents of Lancaster County. Typically held the Saturday before Christmas, this giveaway has served 1,200 families with complete holiday meals. Originally, recipients stood in line at a designated location for a first-come, first-served distribution.
As community needs have evolved, LCPN has implemented contactless distribution services to better prioritize the health and wellbeing of both those in need and their volunteers.
Delivery Details
All registered households will receive a food box delivered to their home through contactless delivery.
Delivery Date and Time: December 21, 2024, between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
Delivery Procedure: Drivers will deliver food boxes to the address provided during registration. Once the driver has dropped off your box, they will knock or ring the doorbell. The driver will then return to their vehicle and call the number you provided at registration to notify you of the delivery.
It is important that recipients are home to receive the food box at the time of delivery.
How to Register:
Registration is available Monday through Friday from November 25, 2024, to December 13, 2024, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Food boxes are limited to 1,200 recipients and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Online registrations are capped at a maximum of 400 recipients.

- Incomplete forms will not be considered
An email confirmation will be sent to all accepted registrations.
Note
- Calls WILL NOT be accepted on November 28 (Thanksgiving Day) or November 29, 2024.
- Registration may close early if the maximum of 1,200 registrants is reached.
