Funding Opportunities

United Way of Lancaster County is honored to serve as the grant administrator for the following grant opportunities:

Pre-K EITC Scholarship Program

United Way of Lancaster County has been approved as a Pre-K Scholarship Organization by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. This designation allows us to deploy business tax credits to provide scholarships for young children in low-income families to Keystone STARS certified, high-quality, Pre-K programs across Lancaster County.

Rotary Summer Youth Experience

Mini-grants are made available through a Rotary Club of Lancaster and United Way of Lancaster County partnership to programs that offer opportunities for youth to learn and enhance leadership, social and academic skills. Generally, this grant opportunity is open in the spring each year.

Women United Grant

Women United is an affinity group for United Way of Lancaster County. This grant opportunity is to “invest in the betterment of Lancaster County women” through the vision “achieve impactful change in the healtheducation, and financial stability of Lancaster County women.”

Each year, the grant will rotate through the 3 aspects of Women United’s focus areas, starting last year with promoting financial stability through further education and increased financial empowerment of Lancaster County women.

"For nearly one hundred years, generations of Lancastrians have supported United Way through a workplace campaign at their employer. Giving back to help neighbors, friends and family is easy through a payroll deduction pledge and our online giving platform streamlines the process for everyone. We are so grateful for the hundreds of local businesses and organizations that conduct workplace giving campaigns each year. From small businesses to large corporations, employee gifts and corporate donations make a significant impact on tens of thousands of people who need our help."
