Community Impact Partners

Lancaster County is no stranger to innovation, while of course remaining ever grounded in its rich traditions. United Way of Lancaster County, using the collective impact model, has brought together more than 100 local nonprofits, schools, faith-based groups, funders, government entities, and others - all organizations that already make Lancaster County a great place to live - and have challenged them to think systemically. We have asked them what problems they experience with the systems they work in, and how they would form unique alliances to tackle those issues.

In fact, we're the first United Way to make the move to solely fund collective impact initiatives, knowing that no one agency can do it alone. We must work collaboratively to fix our community's most critical problems.

What resulted is a county-wide network of partnerships who are making strides to improve education, employment, quality of life and healthcare in Lancaster County. See the full listing below of our Community Impact Partnerships and the Partners that have banded together to tackle our community's Four Bold Goals.
