Provides free legal counsel and representation to low-income families. Caseloads include domestic violence, welfare, elderly, homelessness, social security, and other poverty-related issues. MPLS increases access to the justice system for poor families, helps foster independence, and addresses both the symptoms and the root causes of poverty.
