Give a gift that HELPS. United Way of Lancaster County’s gift program allows you to give a gift of impact in the name of someone special. Select an item below for your honorarium gift.

Give the gift of SECURITY.
Housing and Homelessness
Through efforts to prevent and end homelessness and promote financial stability, ensuring that all individuals, children and families have access to safe, affordable permanent housing

Early Care and Education
Through stimulating, nurturing child care and preschool environments, helping children develop the skills and confidence they need to start Kindergarten ready to learn, graduate high school and become gainfully employed

Safety Net for Vulnerable Populations
Ensuring that a safety net exists for our vulnerable neighbors and that the best services are available to help people through life’s challenges while respecting their dignity as human beings.

United Way Women's Council
The efforts of the Women’s Council improve the lives of women in our community with innovative investments, incentives and an emphasis on individuals by supporting programs and services that reflect United Way’s priority areas. The mission of the Women’s Council is to empower women through philanthropy and volunteer involvement.For more information, visit our Women's Council page.

Membership in the Women’s Council provides a forum for women of diverse interests and backgrounds to improve lives in our community through philanthropy, voluntary action and innovation. Each year more than 100 women come together with investments of $1,000 each that accomplish results such as providing a foundation of savings for a woman working to purchase a home, go to school or start a business.

To “purchase” an item, simply visit our donation page.
  • Choose United Way of Lancaster County in the "Designate your Donation" section.
  • Enter the Cost of the item in the Donation Amount field.
  • Complete all required fields.
  • Be sure to enter your email address.
  • Enter the Item number (e.g. H1, H2, H3) in the Holiday Gift Item field.
  • Enter the name of the person you wish to honor with your gift.
  • Upon receipt of your contribution, we will send (via e-mail) a certificate to present to the gift recipient, including your name, their name and the item purchased.
  • Certificates will be e-mailed within 2 business days.
  • If you wish to remain anonymous, provide the e-mail or mailing address of the recipient and the certifcate will be sent directly to the recipient.
