Community Assessment -Assess and engage the community. Determine priorities, measure progress and results.
Inclusion -Develop diverse leadership for nonprofit organizations.
Advocacy -Advocate for solutions to priorities with government, public, private and nonprofit sectors.
Voluntarism -Influence community conditions by targeting volunteers to specific priority areas, and advocate for voluntary action.

Planned Giving and Endowment -Obtain planned gifts and increase the endowment.
Grantsmanship and Other Resources -Secure grants from private and public resources and generate other resources such as contracts, sponsorships and new revenue.

Information and Referral -Serve as the comprehensive resource center and refer persons in need to services.
