2-1-1 is an easy-to-remember telephone number connects people with community resources.
United Way of Lancaster County's signature program, LINC, has 35 years of experience capably providing information and referrals to a broad range of services including child care, after-school programs, food banks, elder care, basic needs, health services, and more. In 2011, LINC is proud and honored to become the 7-county regional call center as part of Pennsylvania 2-1-1. Our trained and certified information and referral specialists provide front-line service, addressing the needs of callers from the area, starting first with Lancaster and Berks counties.

LINC Publications
United Way LINC, our free and confidential information and referral service, offers a variety of mailing lists and publications to the public. These publications can assist with many things, such as locating housing or a summer camp, finding a job or support group, or locating a preschool for your child. To find out more, click here.

Cross Problems Meetings
In addition to providing information and referral services, United Way LINC also holds monthly (September-May) Cross Problems meetings with representatives from agencies and non-profits, to share information and provide an opportunity for networking.
